If you find yourself shooting lots of vertical (portrait-style) shots, this is a MUST HAVE accessory because of the shutter and AF point-selection controls. If you find yourself shooting tons of exposures, the additional battery, and the time it affords you before recharging, is going to prove invaluable. And lastly, if you use long, heavier lenses (as I do with the EF 70-200 f/2.8 L) the additional weight on the butt end of the camera actually brings more balance to the rig, making shooting more comfortable. I'm glad I purchased the battery grip.

This is a great accessory. It helps balance the camera with a large lens, your pinky has somewhere to go, you can use the e-1 handstrap, and the battery door has a place to be stored in the grip. The problem is that there is a bit of flex between the grip and the frame of the camera. This is a pretty well documented issue on some of the photography forums.

I would want to review other people's experience with this product. I would want to know if it did what they bought this item to do. I would also want to know how the item performed and any difficulties they may have experienced with it. So far this item has lived up to our best expectations for it and we are pleased with our purchase.

I have always used Hoya filters because I thought they were a good value--which they are! However, I have always found Hoya filters difficult to clean. I just purchased my first B+W filters and now I plan to replace all my other filters with B+W filters. Yes, they are more expensive, and I thought the reviews were over-inflated and perhaps a little snobish. I am now a beliver! The quality of the filter construction is unmatched and they can be thoroughly cleaned without any smudges in under a minute. The photo quality is excellent as well! I love this product and it is certainly worth the extra money in the long run.

I shoot in all kinda of weather conditions, from sunny and warm, to windy and cold or snowy, and I have never had any major issues with any of my B+W filters acting up! I prefer the MRC, but even their entry level one is ground glass, so you still get a great quality filter at that price point.

Based on others feedback, I went ahead and purchased this camera, I was looking for a simple point and shoot but also was concerned about picture quality. All I can say is "WOW". This camera is better than I expected, takes great photos, a ton of features, yet very intuitive, so you dont have to read the entire manual to get great performance. The wife loves it, it's small enough to fit anywhere, yet not cheap feeling. If I had to do it again, I would purchase this exact camera.

I started out cheap with the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens. It is fine for basic shots in average conditions but falls short in contrast and sharpness compared to my zoom lenses. That lead me to get the Canon 50mm f1.4 lens. Wow! Sharpness is fantastic. The crispness, color and detail are unsurpassed with this lens. I am very pleased with this lens and wish I had just spent the money for it to start with. I also found this lens focuses faster than the f1.8 lens. I am using it on my Canon EOS30d.

I have owned three Canon pocket cameras, every version just keeps getting better and better. This the best one yet. The color, precision, speed is fantastic. What can I say? It simply takes great pictures with out the fuss and bother of a bulky SLR. Great pictures in low light and the Image Stabilization really works well. I was interested in the wide angle lens to see if it made and difference and it is really nice.

Used it a few times when the original battery ran out. Seemed to be at the same capacity as the original one, both with and without flash. I think 2 batteries is better than a battery grip -- not as bulky. Well, maybe because I have small hands.

I ordered this because I am rough on things. I've ruined 4 cellphones and my last camera looks beat. I keep the new one (Canon Sureshot) in this at all times, and it does get tossed around a bit, but the camera fits in there just perfect and it keeps the camera and lens and viewscreen well protected. And it has a belt loop if you need it near for quick access without looking awkward or being in the way. The extra battery was a plus as backup though I have not needed it yet, though I don't think I will ever use the long metal neckstrap.

I like this camera b/c it is so compact and yet powerful. The zoom is incredible, the supermacro option is great. The manual features are fun. The bad features are that one must pause in between pictures, and one must replace the batteries fairly often.

I ordered the Canon Powershot 8MP Digital Camera with 6x zoom. The camera has been great, it is easy to use on automatic, the zoom is awesome, and the clarity of the photos are the best. I have downloaded and emailed several pictures and they transmit very nice. I am very pleased with the size, ease of use, and overall camera.
